This week I received my newest Voxbox from Influenster! With this box, they sent me 3 products. 2 of the 3 products were actually products I had never heard of before, so I was (as always to get free things to try) thrilled to receive it! Please keep in mind, I received these items complimentary for testing purposes
Lemi Shine Dishwasher detergent. I was honestly very reluctant about this product. When we moved into our new house, my husband wasn’t used to having a dishwasher as he had previously not had one in his last house. He quickly let me know, that he didn’t feel as though the generic dishwasher pods from Target worked as good as the Finish Quantum that came in a sample pack with our dishwasher. (so funny) so Mr. frugal, decided it was worth the splurge. We did recently start having issues with our dishes not being cleaned fully when putting them away, which lead me to getting upset that the kids and my husband would mindlessly put away dirty dishes in the cabinet. So we were both reluctant, but were pleasantly surprised!
This Detergent not only cleaned our dishes really well, but it cleaned our actual dishwasher too. We did not have any dishes that had residue left, which never happens. Now, we will see if the magic continues with use, but we so far, we have decided to switch, especially because this product is pretty affordable, and available at Walmart. It is said to use Natural Citric elements, to cut through grease, with zero toxic Residue.
Gold Bond neck and chest age defense cream. This I was really excited to get and use. I have loved Gold Bond brand products for a really long time. Its definitely a tried and true brand for me. They make some of the best healing hand creams from the drugstore that I’ve used. When I was a nurse in the ER, this brand was my go to for healing my broken and sore hands from constant use of hand sanitizer and constant washing. Now, I will say, its a pricey brand for being drugstore, but it is definitely worth it. All of the lotions I have used have been thick in consistency (in a good way) and silky smooth on the skin…and this product is no different. Now, I’m not going to come on here and rave about how wonderful and tight my neck is now at age 35, because lets face it…I would have to use this product for years to really get the affects of usage. AND…its obvious that any area of the body that is well treated and focused on when it comes to moisturizing, will age better. It’s never too late to give a little care to your face, your neck, hands, lips, and all the areas that show aging, so no matter your budget, using some sort of moisturizer sooner rather than later is key to being youthful!
With that being said, This cream is really nice and silky. A little of it goes a long way, just like most Gold Bond products. The smell, is very reminiscent of the OG healing lotions, but it does have a slightly different smell. It’s not overpowering, it’s pleasant, and I am someone who is sensitive to smells. One thing I really loved about this was that it is not sticky. I have a sort of, fatty neck lol…that has rolls…and I’m not being hard on myself, anyone that looks at me tends to think I have thyroid problems. I do not however, been tested many times! Anywho… I say this to lead into the fact that it left no sticky residue and absorbed into the skin so nice. I will continue to use this, and I may even buy it again!
Smashmallow Cookie dough Marshmallow. Last but not least, Influenster gave me a treat to try out. I will say, I am super intrigued by this product. Its sold at Walmart and at Target, and they ahve 4 or 5 different flavors. When I first opened the package it did have almost a spoiled smell, but in a way it just smelled as though it was “diet” or “low calorie” It was definitely satisfying for someone who is looking for a low calorie snack to take care of a sweet tooth. It was a little harder than a fresh marshmallow, which I actually preferred.
These snacks come in at about 100 calories for 4, which is a really decent size serving. If you had multiple flavors you could definitely get your fix pretty good with 4 of these 1inchx 1inch snacks. The other flavors consist of: toasted vanilla, Dipped cold brew, Dark chocolate Raspberry, Cinnamon Churro, Mint chocolate chip, Strawberries and cream, Rootbeer float. I’m going to go ahead and order some of the other flavors to try!
